Skinfood + IQQU

I heard a lot of good stuff about Skinfood products and I've been wanting to try a few of their products. Skinfood is a Korean cosmetic manufacturer that uses natural food and product as their main ingredients. Because of their use of natural ingredients they are now very successful. Thanks to some Soompi seller I got my hands on sample of the Black Sugar Mask Wash Off and the Salmon Brightening Eye Serum. On to the reviews!

Black Sugar Mask Wash Off
First off, the Black Sugar Mask Wash Off.  The texture is very gooey and thick and you can feel the big sugar grain. I think this product smells so good! It smells like brown sugar with a hint of lemon? Hahaha. After washing your face, mix the mask with a big of water (to dilute it a bit) and apply on your face. Let it rest for 10-15min and rinse off. I must say that my skin felt really smooth and looked fresh! I LOVED IT! And it didn't even feel dry on my face while I was letting it rest. But this might be a bit too harsh for people with sensitive skin. Otherwise you guys should totally try it out!

Salmon Brightening Eye Serum

Next, the Salmon Brightening Eye Serum. I have little dark circles under my eyes, though not THAT noticeable but it bothers me haha. The texture is a bit runny but it absorbs really well! You just need to apply a tiny amount under your eye and it does the job. I tried it for a few days and I can see a little difference. Since my dark circles aren't REALLY dark I can't tell you if it works that well but I liked it! It worked a bit for me so I'm happy haha.

IQQU Acne Serum

I also want to review another product that I've been using for the past 3 months and it's Michelle Phan's IQQU Acne Serum. IQQU is Michelle Phan's skincare line that was launched in 2009. Since I'm a big fan of hers and I think her skin is fantastic I had to check her line out! The Acne Serum really interested me. Although I heard some mixed reviews about this product I wanted to try it anyways but the price was ridiculous! Luckily my friend Jade bought 2 of them on the Black Friday sale and sold one to me =) It was still $33 CAD but I wanted it so bad so I didn't really care haha. I've been using it every night for 3 months now and I think it's really not bad. The texture is creamy and it absorbs pretty fast in the skin. It doesn't dry the face that much but still apply a moisturizer afterward. I had mild acne to start off and I did see an improvement in the first month. I was using it with some Neutrogena products and it worked pretty well. Then I switched to Clinique 3 steps skincare routine and I don't know if it's the Clinique products or the Acne serum not working anymore but it made me break out >.< Or maybe it was just my skin that was not used to the new products but now my skin cleared up and I only have 1-2 small pimples. But overall I liked the Acne Serum and wouldn't mind continuing using it but I think it's a bit expensive for something that is not considered a high end product. I think this product only works with people with mild acne, I heard it didn't really work with people who had moderate to severe acne. I hope my review helped you guys ^^;;
